GREG'S BACKYARD
The Lassen Volcanic National Park has over 50 mountain lakes, camping, fishing, and hiking trails that go deep into old-growth forest. The volcano last erupted in 1917 and is considered active today. Restaurants in the area offer a free meal if you're eating at the time of an eruption. HA HA

One of the largest concentrations of petroglyphs in the park. People who farmed the Puerco River Valley 650 to 2,000 years ago pecked petroglyphs onto the rocks, leaving a legacy etched in stone.
